Feast of St. Lawrence
Al fresco dining in the heart of Toronto’s historic neighbourhood.
We were so honoured to be a part of the very first Feast of St. Lawrence festival, celebrating the rich (and delicious) history of the St. Lawrence Market neighbourhood. This year’s inaugural event kicked off with an exclusive dinner under the stars… ish. There was rain in the forecast, so organizers played it safe by setting up a tent on Front Street to house 100 guests.
Chef Amanda Ray and our team put together a tasty duo of canapés including house-cured salmon gravlax and chicken liver parfait, which went perfectly with Pearl Diver’s oyster bar and pear vichyssoise from Hot House Restaurant. The sit-down dinner featured five outstanding courses from fellow neighbourhood restaurants including Woods, Barsa Taberna, Omni King Edward Hotel, and The Sultan’s Tent.
Looking forward to what next summer has in store – and fingers crossed the rain stays away!
